NSYNC (also stylized as *NSYNC or 'N Sync) is an American boy band formed in Orlando, Florida, in 1995 and signed in Germany by BMG Ariola Munich. NSYNC consisted of Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and Lance Bass. Their self-titled debut album was successfully released to European countries in 1997, and later debuted in the US market with the single "I Want You Back".

After heavily publicized legal battles with their former manager Lou Pearlman and former record label Bertelsmann Music Group, the group's second album, No Strings Attached (2000), sold over one million copies in one day and 2.42 million copies in one week, which was a record for over fifteen years. NSYNC's first two studio albums were both certified Diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Celebrity (2001) debuted with 1.8 million copies in its first week in the US. Singles such as "Bye Bye Bye", "This I Promise You", "Girlfriend", "Pop" and "It's Gonna Be Me" reached the top 10 in several international charts, with the last being a US Billboard Hot 100 number one. In addition to a host of Grammy Award nominations, NSYNC has performed at the World Series, the Super Bowl and the Olympic Games, and sang or recorded with Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Britney Spears, Phil Collins, Celine Dion, Aerosmith, Nelly, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, Mary J. Blige, Alabama, and Gloria Estefan. The group has received eight Grammy Award nominations.

NSYNC last recorded new material in 2002. The five members have reunited a couple of times, including at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards and to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The band completed five nationwide concert tours and has sold over 70 million records, becoming one of the best-selling boy bands in history. Rolling Stone recognized their instant success as one of the Top 25 Teen Idol Breakout Moments of all time. NSYNC is set to release their first new song in over 20 years, "Better Place", for the upcoming animated movie, Trolls Band Together, which Timberlake stars in.

10cc are an English art rock and pop band. Initially comprised of four musicians - Graham Gouldman, Eric Stewart, Kevin Godley and Lol Creme - who had written and recorded together for some three years, before assuming the "10cc" name in 1972 - two strong song-writing teams, injected sharp wit to lyrically-dextrous songs.
Stewart and Gouldman were straight pop-song-writers, who created the band’s most accessible songs; Godley and Creme were the experimental half of 10cc, featuring an Art School sensibility and cinematic writing. All are skilled multi-instrumentalists, vocalists, writers, and producers, and each could perform convincingly as lead singers, leading to favourable comparisons with The Beatles.
The band achieved its greatest commercial success during the 1970s.

In 1976 … Godley & Creme left, releasing records under that name before making a significant contribution to the development of the music video in the 80s.
In 1977 … 10cc embarked on an international tour with guitarist Rick Fenn, keyboardist Tony O'Malley and additional drummer Stuart Tosh and recorded a live album in 1977, "Live And Let Live", which mixed the hits with material from the previous three albums.
Fenn, Tosh, Burgess and keyboardist Duncan Mackay were full members of the band and performed on 1978 album "Bloody Tourists", which provided the band with their third UK No.1 single, the reggae-styled "Dreadlock Holiday".

1977-1983 … After the departure of Godley and Creme, Stewart and Gouldman opted to continue as 10cc, bringing in to the studio drummer Paul Burgess, who had up to that point been their tour backup drummer. Their first album as a three piece band was "Deceptive Bends".

1984-1992 … Separate projects - after 1983, the band went into recess as Stewart did produce recordings for Sad Café and Gouldman produced tracks for The Ramones before teaming up with Andrew Gold to form the synth-pop group Wax.

1992-1995 … In 1992 the original four members reunited to record "Meanwhile", an album produced by Gary Katz of Steely Dan fame. …the album was not a "reunion" in the strict sense of the word. All the album's songs were written by Stewart and Gouldman … Creme and Godley agreed to guest on the album to fullfil their obligation to Polydor records.

1999-2009 … since 1999 Gouldman has toured as 10cc consisting of Rick Fenn, Paul Burgess, Mick Wilson, Mike Stevens and/or Keith Hayman, with occasional guest appearances by Kevin Godley. The band has embarked on several national tours of the UK and various dates throughout the World playing 10cc hits, plus a section of Gouldman's hits written for others. Their first gig was at Ronnie Scotts jazz club in Birmingham in 1999.

Additional info:
There is much speculation about where the name of the band comes from but the general consensus was that it is named after the average amount of ejaculate in a single male orgasm. However one will find that the average is about 3cc …the name "10cc" in fact comes from a dream: Jonathan King, the person who signed them, dreamed of a band called 10cc topping the charts in both the UK and America - see: snopes.com/music/artists/10cc.asp

Tupac Amaru Shakur (born Lesane Parish Crooks, June 16, 1971 – September 13, 1996), better known by his stage name 2Pac and later by his alias Makaveli, was an American rapper and actor. Considered one of the most influential rappers of all time, Shakur is among the best-selling music artists, having sold more than 75 million records worldwide. Much of Shakur's music has been noted for addressing contemporary social issues that plagued inner cities, and he is considered a symbol of activism against inequality.

Shakur was born in New York City to parents who were both political activists and Black Panther Party members. Raised by his mother, he relocated to Baltimore in 1984 and to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1988. With the release of his debut album 2Pacalypse Now in 1991, he became a central figure in West Coast hip-hop for his conscious rap lyrics. Shakur achieved further critical and commercial success with his follow-up albums Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z… (1993) and Me Against the World (1995). His Diamond certified album All Eyez on Me (1996), the first double-length album in hip-hop history, abandoned his introspective lyrics for volatile gangsta rap. In addition to his music career, Shakur also found considerable success as an actor, with his starring roles in Juice (1992), Poetic Justice (1993), Above the Rim (1994), Bullet (1996), Gridlock'd (1997), and Gang Related (1997).

During the later part of his career, Shakur was shot five times in the lobby of a New York recording studio and experienced legal troubles, including incarceration. In 1995, Shakur served eight months in prison on sexual abuse charges, but was released pending an appeal of his conviction. Following his release, he signed to Marion "Suge" Knight's label Death Row Records and became heavily involved in the growing East Coast–West Coast hip hop rivalry. On September 7, 1996, Shakur was shot four times by an unidentified assailant in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas; he died six days later. Following his murder, Shakur's friend-turned-rival, the Notorious B.I.G., was at first considered a suspect due to their public feud, but was also murdered in another drive-by shooting six months later in March 1997 while visiting Los Angeles.

Five more albums have been released since Shakur's death, all of which have been certified Platinum in the United States. In 2002, Shakur was inducted into the Hip-Hop Hall of Fame. In 2017, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility. Rolling Stone magazine ranked Shakur among the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.

Shakur was born on June 16, 1971, in the East Harlem section of Manhattan in New York City. While born Lesane Parish Crooks, at age one he was renamed Tupac Amaru Shakur. He was named after Túpac Amaru II, the descendant of the last Incan ruler, Túpac Amaru, who was executed in Peru in 1781 after his failed revolt against Spanish rule. Shakur's mother explained, "I wanted him to have the name of revolutionary, indigenous people in the world. I wanted him to know he was part of a world culture and not just from a neighborhood."

Shakur had an older stepbrother, Mopreme "Komani" Shakur, and a half-sister, Sekyiwa Shakur, two years his junior.

The project consists of Robert M., a young and successful deejay, DJ Remo, who has collaborated with popular artists such as Gosia Andrzejewicz hailing from Poland, and last but not least, Dirty Rush (?) They have collaborated on a few songs together, the three popular ones being 'Shine On,' 'Black Cherry,' and 'Over & Over' (oldest to newest in that order). These songs are quite popular in the Polish club scene and mainstream radios such as Radio Eska and RMF Maxxx in Poland.

2) Hailing from the mean streetz of Abergavenny, the Three Retards recently burst on to the stage with their experimental and mostly chillout tunes. Dani Thomas produces music akin to Robert Miles, while Ed Herbert has seen his music progress from that of a Nine Inch Nails soundtrack inspired by a little blue Japanese guy to a style of rock specific to himself. Huw Groucutt's Aber-G beats provides the trio's LSD-trance counterpoint.

3) A christian rock band from Loimaa, Finland.

There are multiple artists that have used this name:

1. 3T are an American musical group made up of Tito Jackson and the late Delores "Dee-Dee" Jackson's three sons: Toriano Adaryll "Taj," Jr. (4 Aug 1973), Taryll Adren (8 Aug 1975) and Tito Joe "T.J." (16 Jul 1978). The brothers have a younger half-sister named Tanay Jackson who is also a singer-songwriter.

3T released their debut album Brotherhood in 1995. The album sold approximately six million copies worldwide. The group achieved an international hit with their debut single "Anything," and released several hit singles in Europe, including "24/7", "Why" (a duet with their uncle, Michael Jackson), "I Need You" (with a brief vocal appearance by Michael), "Tease Me" and "Gotta Be You." In 1996, they were ranked second, behind the Spice Girls, as the biggest-selling group in Europe. 3T have also written and produced songs for soundtracks to films as The Jacksons: An American Dream, Free Willy and Free Willy 2, Men in Black, and Trippin'.
After signing with the French label TF1/NRJ in 2003, 3T continued to perform in France, the Netherlands and Belgium. The group signed with the Dutch label Digidance in 2004 for Dutch releases, appearances and performances. The album titled Identity was released on March 23, 2004. Two singles were released: "Stuck On You" (a cover of the Lionel Richie song) was released in 2003 in France and Belgium, in 2004 in the Netherlands, and "Sex Appeal" in 2004.
In December 2005, it was announced that 3T would star in a television reality show, featuring the band trying to resurrect their career in the United States. This has not yet taken place. In 2007, Taryll announced on Myspace that he was recording a solo album. Some previews were added to his Myspace music account, but later were removed. From May to June of 2008, Taj and TJ (who joined later) filmed with their father Tito, apparently for an NBC documentary, with other members of the Jackson family. Taryll did not participate in these events due to personal circumstances as yet undisclosed.

2. 3T (Yumiko Cheng, Mandy and Maggie Lau), which released an EP in September of 2002.

49ers are an Italian Italo House and Eurodance act featuring producer/DJ Gianfranco Bortolotti and vocalist Dawn Mitchell who was later replaced by Anne Marie Smith.

They had a number of hits on the U.S. Hot Dance Club Play chart, including "Touch Me" and "Don't You Love Me", both of which hit number one in 1990.

49ers exemplified two characteristics of Italo House: the taking of lyrical hooks from other compositions and the off-kilter approach to English grammar and narrative. The couplets that often form the choruses of Italo House records usually make sense in a roughly impressionistic manner (if at all).

"Touch Me" was based on an Aretha Franklin sample ("Rock-a-Lott"). "Don't You Love Me", prominently featuring a vocal sample from Jody Watley's hit "Don't You Want Me", also entered the Billboard Hot 100 and climbed to number 78. Other borrowed phrases and hooks are dispersed throughout the accompanying album, making for a type of "aural scavenger hunt" for the listener.

Follow-up "Don't You Love Me" did not do as well, but made the Top 20, hitting #12 on the UK singles chart. Other hit singles from their debut album include "I Need You", "Die Walkure", and "Girl To Girl."

In 1992, 49ers second full length album "Playing With My Heart" saw the entry of vocalist Anne Marie Smith and a slight change in direction with a more Garage House sound. Nevertheless, both the album and its singles "Move Your Feet", "Got To Be Free" and "The Message" all became major hits.

After this album, their output remained limited to singles. However, their success continued into the late 1990s with such singles as "Lovin' You", "Rockin' My Body", "Baby, I'm Yours", and "I Got the Music."

In May 2007 a ‘Eurovisional’ single “Love or leave” was released, which contained the versions of the song in English and Lithuanian and two remixes of the English version. In April 2009 the band released a double album ” Dėlionė”/”A puzzle”, which contains original songs in Lithuanian on one CD and in English on the other CD.

Members:
* Julija Ritčik
* Justas Jasenka
* Rimantas Jasenka
* Laimonas Staniulionis

Discography:
* Gyvas – 2004 (Live album)
* Love or leave - 2007 (Single)
* A Puzzle/ Dėlionė - 2009 (Double album)

The leader of the group Julia Ritchik finished a music school in Vilnius (piano faculty). She started her singing career in 1994 in a blues group “The Road Band” (she stayed with the band for longer than 6 years and recorded 6 albums). At the same time she sang in the “Acoustic trio” and recorded an album with them in 1995, and in the “Country Blues Session Band” under the leadership of a well-known Lithuanian fiddler and composer A.Klova (in 2001 the band released an album, in 1999 won the second award in an international country music contest “Country Europe” in Mragowo, Poland – Julia sang for the band both contest songs, one of them was her original song “Ant krantu”.)

In1994-2001 with the above mentioned groups Julia toured the Baltic states, Poland, the Netherlands, Byelorussia, Russia and Ukraine and took part in numerous blues, country music and jazz festivals.

702, named after the area code of their hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada, is an American platinum-selling female R&B trio, made up of three young African-American women: lead singer Kameelah 'Meelah' Williams and sisters Irish and LeMisha 'Misha' Grinstead.

In Las Vegas, sisters LeMisha and Irish Grinstead, and their friend Kameelah Williams, were students at the Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts. Irish, her twin sister Orish, and LeMisha occasionally sang in the lobby of Caesars Palace where they were discovered by actor/comedian Sinbad. He visited their home in order to convince their parents to send the trio to Atlanta for a convention and music competition. Though the girls missed the deadline for entry, Sinbad used his name to get them in. "Sweeta than Suga," as they were then called (Sinbad suggested the name), came in second in the competition. As the convention was nearing a close, they met Michael Bivins (of New Edition and Bell Biv DeVoe) who agreed to work with the sisters. They were briefly joined by their cousin Amelia Childs. After they made their recorded debut on Subway's hit single "This Lil' Game We Play", Amelia dropped out of the group and was replaced by Kameelah Williams. After recording a few demos as a quartet including "Steelo", and "Get It Together", Orish decided to leave the group (even though her vocals appear on the first album). Bivins continued to work with different producers and songwriters to get the right feel for their first album. The reconfigured group was christened "702," which is Las Vegas' area code, a name which bivens suggested.

702 was discovered by Michael Bivins of New Edition and made their recorded debut on Subway's hit single "This Lil' Game We Play". Missy Elliott wrote and co-produced four songs from their first album, No Doubt, including "Steelo". The remix of "Steelo" was the first major solo production credit for Elliott's main collaborator Timbaland. "Steelo" was later used, with altered lyrics, as the theme song to the Nickelodeon television show Cousin Skeeter.

Elliott crafted two more songs for 702, their second album, the top 5 hit "Where My Girls At" and "You Don't Know". No Doubt won a Lady Of Soul Soul Train Award for "Best R&B/Soul or Rap Album Of The Year by A Group Band Or Duo". The group split after the poor sales of their album 'Star' and lack of promotion from Motown.

Kameelah now sings backup for the likes of Faith Evans and Macy Gray. She has been working on her solo project for a while, releasing a number of singles including the duet with Musiq Soulchild “Give It to You” and her recent release “Think About Me”. Irish was the only group member to act, as she co-starred in The Brewster Project in early 2004.

Orish, twin sister of Irish, died of kidney failure on Sunday April 20, 2008 at age 27. She was part of the original lineup (pre-No Doubt) and filled in for Misha during her pregnancy.
